Oklahoma Builder of the Year: 2009, awarded by the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association. This award is based on exceptional service to the industry at the local, state, and national level. The award winner must have demonstrated a commitment to customer service and quality in their business, as well as dedication to professional building practices and continuing education. Each builder is nominated by their local association, and the nomination is submitted to the state leadership. Those nominees are then vetted and voted on by previous Builder of the Year recipients. This award can only be won once by a builder.

The Spirit Award represents the highest level of recognition given to any builder by the Tulsa HBA.
