Since 1965, BMI has been building outstanding homes in Tulsa and the surrounding suburbs. BMI Properties began operations under the leadership of veteran home builder, Bill Rhees. His son, Phil Rhees, joined the firm in 1994. This team of professionals provides an exceptional level of performance, adhering to the principle that customers and quality always come first.

Bill Rhees has been honored by the National Association of Home Builders for his professional performance. Named the first "Master Builder" in Eastern Oklahoma, Bill also holds professional designations Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Phil Rhees has a Bachelors Degree in Finance, and after five years in the banking industry, joined Bill to create a unique home-building experience matched by no other company in the area. Continuing his education, Phil has also earned his Certified Green Professional (CGP) and CGB designation from the NAHB. He serves as Vice-Chairman of the Building, Housing, and Fire Prevention Appeals Board for the City of Tulsa, and is a "Registered Professional Builder" as designated by the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association (OSHBA). Phil also serves on the Executive Board of Directors at NAHB.

Both Bill and Phil Rhees have served as President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa (HBA) and are both currently on the Board of Directors.
